Home Remedies That Helps Cure A Hangover

You have been out at a party and have boozed really hard. Boozing was fun 12 hours back but now the throbbing sensation in your temples and that sick nauseous feeling makes you feel like quitting alcohol.

You don’t have the patience or the energy to run to the doctor in such a state but you really want to do something about that reeling head of yours.

Well, don’t you worry here are some remedies which are available in your kitchen itself. Hop, skip and jump and you are in your kitchen. Just have the patience, or ask someone to help you out in preparing these remedies.


 Pour some lemon juice (of 1 lemon) to a cup of black coffee and drink it, no sugar, no milk and drink it. It will give you some relief.


 Have some Chicken soup – just as it works with colds, it can also help rid you of your hangover.


 Take about 2 tablespoons of honey every 30 minutes since you wake up till you start feeling better.


 Eat some apples as soon as you wake up, it will somewhat help you feel better.


 Lastly, and probably most effective is to make a banana and honey milkshake. Take 3 bananas, pour in some milk and honey, blend it all till it’s all nice and smooth and gulp it down, it will help sooth and settle your stomach, calming your nerves and ultimately relieving you of your splitting headache due to a major hangover.


 This one is easy drink a lot of water after waking up. It will make you feel better.


 Rice, Soup, or Toast. Food is probably the last thing you want to look at while recovering, but you do need some substance for energy. Stay with clear liquids until you can tolerate something solid. Then start off slowly with mild, easy-to-digest foods such as plain toast, rice, or clear soup.


 Juice, especially freshly squeezed orange juice, will help raise your blood sugar levels and help ease some of your hangover symptoms. However, if your stomach is upset, skip acidic juices such as orange juice and stick with apple juice instead.

These natural home remedies should get you back on your feet after a night of over-indulgence. With a little tender loving care, you should be all better in no time.
