Home Remedies For Arthritis

You have spent a lot of money on purchasing medicines for arthritis. Here are some  home remedies which will help you deal with the pain. They are easily available and do not cost a lot of money.

Vitamin C

in the form of citrus fruits, vegetables is a good home remedy for rheumatoid arthritis. So, take in as many citrus food you can.

 Yoga

is an effective ayurveda treatment .It is useful in Arthritis pain relief as it helps reduce joint stiffness and increases joint mobility.

 Garlic

contains anti-inflammatory properties, which is effective in the treatment of arthritis. Garlic may be taken raw or cooked.

Citric acid

found in lime is a solvent  of uric acid which is the major cause of Arthritis. Taking lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey in a cup of warm water 2-3 times daily proves to be very effective for the treatment of arthritis. 

 Half teaspoon of

turmeric powder

warm milk

 Rubbing the aching joints with hot

sesame oil

before going to bed helps give relief to the pain.

Warm

coconut oil or mustard oil

, mixed with two or three pieces of camphor when massaged on stiff and aching joints helps increase blood supply, and reduces inflammation and stiffness.

Another herb known as

Guggul

is very helpful in curing arthritis. If available, eat half a teaspoon twice a day after meals with warm water.

 Raw potato juice therapy

– Drink water in which you soak potatoes  especially early in the morning on an empty stomach. Also, juice of potatoes should be drunk. It helps ease the pain in the joints.
