In the previous article we discussed the various health benefits of tomato. As mentioned in last article tomatoes are helpful in improving your skin tone and texture. This article is completely dedicated on skin care tomato recipes to add radiant glow to your skin. Add special glow to your dull and tanned skin with tomato recipes listed below:
- For Tanned Skin: Mix fresh juice of tomato and cucumber in equal quantities and apply this mixture on the affected area. Allow it to air dry for 10 minutes and wash it off with clean water. You will observe significant lightening of tanned skin.
- For Radiant Glow: Mix honey and fresh tomato juice and apply evenly on your face and neck. After 15 minutes wash your face with clean water. You will observe a radiant glow on your face.
- To 4tsp of curd mix 2 tsp of fresh tomato juice, mix well and apply evenly on your face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash your face with clean water. Within 15 minutes of application you will observe radiant glow on your face.
- For Oily and Blackhead Prone Skin: Cut a slice of fresh red tomato and gently rub it on your skin. Let it air dry for 15 minutes and wash it off with clean water. Tomatoes are rich source of Vitamin C and potassium which cleanse the excess oil and clears the blackheads.
- For a Better Skin Tone: Extract pulp of tomato and spread it evenly on your face and leave it for at least 1 hour. After 1 hour wash your face with lukewarm water. For better results apply tomato daily.
- Treating Enlarged Pores: Add 2-3 drops of lime juice to freshly extracted tomato juice. With the help of a cotton ball apply it on your face and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. With clean water wash your face thoroughly.
- For Treating Sunburn: Mix 4 tsp of buttermilk to 2 tsp of tomato juice and apply it on the affected area. After 30 minutes wash it with water. This is an effective remedy to get rid off sunburn.
- For Skin Rashes: It is observed that skin rashes are mainly caused due to silicon deficiency. The problem of skin rashes can be easily cured by including tomatoes, sprouts and other fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
- Homemade Cleanser Recipe: Mix equal parts of milk and strained tomato pulp and store this mixture in a bottle and refrigerate. Daily with the help of your fingertips gently apply it on your face and neck. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes and then wash it with cold water.
