What is Gout:

Gout is a type of arthritis that is characterized by intense pain, swelling and tenderness in joints. It is a chronic disease but the symptoms can occur in acute attacks. It is a condition when there is excess accumulation of uric acid in the body.

Treatment using Vitamin C Fruits:

Vitamin C is very effective in dissolving gout deposits. Lemon is the best source of vitamin C. Take a glass of water and squeeze half lemon in it. Take this juice three times a day. Other sources of vitamin C are: oranges, mangoes, grapefruit.

Treatment using Cherries:

Taking 15 to 20 fresh cherries a day is excellent cure for gout. The number of cherries can be decreased to 10 once the ailment is under control. You can use canned cherries if you do not have fresh ones.

Treatment using Honey:

Take 2 teaspoon of honey and add 2 teaspoons of apple cider to it. Take this mixture once daily. This is one of the effective way to cure gout.

Treatment using Fresh Beans:

Take fresh French or string beans and extract juice out of it. Take 150 ml of this juice daily till the symptoms disappear. It can be taken occasionally after that.

Treatment using apple:

The malic acid in apples neutralize the uric acids accumulated during the ailment. Taking one apple after each meal is ideal natural cure for gout.

Treatment using banana:

Banana diet for 3 to 4 days at stretch is one of the effective natural cure for gout. Bananas are rich in phosphorous and eliminate the uric acid deposits. You can take 8 to 9 bananas a day without taking anything else. The uric acid deposited are minimized and there will be a great relief from gout.
