Natural Lemon for Dandruff

Lemon

can be used in several ways to treat dandruff. It has great antibacterial effects and is a good oil cleanser. In this article we give some of the ways you can use lemon to get rid of dandruff.

What is Dandruff:

Dandruff is excessive shedding of the scalp skin. In this condition shiny, silvery scales separate from the scalp and spread in hair. It can be caused by several reasons such as wrong food, harsh shampoos, exposure to extreme temperatures and skin infections.

Lemon Peel Massage:

Massage your scalp with lemon peel and rinse your hair with the lemon juice and water mixture. Do this one a week. You will find dandruff-free beautiful hair.

Lemon Juice and Coconut Oil:

Take two cups of water and warm it. Add one fresh lemon and 2 tablespoon of coconut oil. Rinse your hair with the mixture. Also massage into scalp and hair. Wring out the excess water and warp your hair in a hair kerchief. Leave this overnight. Wash hair with a normal shampoo. Repeat this two times a month. This is one of the effective dandruff treatment with lemon.

Lemon in Henna:

Take 3 tablespoons of henna powder and add one egg to it. Take out juice of one fresh lemon and mix the paste. Apply this to your scalp by massaging gently. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with normal shampoo. Repeat this remedy one a week. It acts a natural conditioning for dandruff treatment.

Lemon Juice for Combs:

Combs and brushes that are worn out by dandruff can be cleared by soaking in lemon juice for overnight. This sanitize them and prevent the spread or re-occurrence of dandruff.
