Apricots are fruits with the golden skin and velvety texture. These are round in shape and are smaller in size, when compared to peaches. Though these are sweet in taste, they have tartness also. These contain stony pits, from which apricot kernel oil is extracted. This tree grows to a height of 13 metres. These fruits develop in the early spring season and are harvested in the early summer.
