You can opt for whole body bath or a small amount of water for local treatment. Add 1 – 2 cups of unrefined sea salt to a warm tub for a whole body bath. One can also include some herbal oils in the bathing water to make it more soothing. Ensure that the water is not very hot. For at least 15 minutes, soak in the bath tub. Also this bath detoxifies the body by opening the pores and allowing you to sweat without any skin irritation.
This is rich in vitamin E and is an effective skin moisturizing agent. Ensure to use extra virgin, cold-pressed and unrefined oil for eczema. This does not dry quickly and thus, keeps the skin moisturized. Best thing is apply olive oil on the eczema immediately after the shower. This helps in sealing the moisture in the skin.
Aloe Vera Juice:
This is a wonderful plant. It cures burns, reduces inflammation, soothes itching and moisturizes the skin. Aloe can relieve certain conditions in few minutes. Try to get fresh aloe juice and apply it on the eczema several times.
