Following are some sources which are rich in estrogens as well as vitamins, fiber, minerals and essential fatty acids.

Food sources of estrogen

  • Vegetables and fruits

    : Vegetables and fruits contain natural estrogen. Some of the vegetables include cauliflower, broccoli, alfalfa sprouts, parsley, beetroot, potatoes, red beans, carrots, cucumbers, mushrooms and celery. Some of the fruits include papaya, cherries, apples, plums, pomegranates, pears, tomatoes and prunes.

  • Other diet

    : Certain herbs and spices are known to be rich in phytoestrogens. Spices like ginger, cloves, turmeric, thyme and oregano are known to be very good sources of estrogen.
